hot dipped galvanized metal angle bar steel China Manufacture galvanised steel beams hot rolled steel profiles
Hot dip zinc is one of the best coating methods to protect steel substrate. It is in the liquid state of zinc, after a rather complex physical and chemical action, on the iron and steel not only coated with a thick layer of pure zinc, but also generate a zinc-iron alloy layer. This plating method not only has the corrosion resistance of electrogalvanizing, but also has a zinc-iron alloy layer. It also has strong corrosion resistance that can not be compared with electric galvanizing. Therefore, this plating method is especially suitable for all kinds of strong acid, alkali fog and other strong corrosive environment.
principle
Hot dip galvanizing layer is formed by zinc in a high temperature liquid in three steps:
1. The surface of iron base is dissolved by zinc liquid to form zinc-ferroalloy phase layer;
2. Zinc ions in the alloy layer further diffuse to the matrix to form a zinc-iron intersoluble layer;
3. The surface of the alloy layer is surrounded by a zinc layer.
characteristics | |
1 | A thick and dense layer of pure zinc covers the surface of steel, which can avoid the contact between the steel matrix and any corrosion solution and protect the steel matrix from corrosion. In the general atmosphere, a thin and dense zinc oxide layer is formed on the surface of the zinc layer, which is difficult to dissolve in water, so it has a certain protective effect on the steel matrix. If zinc oxide and other components in the atmosphere to form insoluble zinc salts, the corrosion protection is more ideal. |
2 | it has an iron-zinc alloy layer, which is compact and has special corrosion resistance in Marine salt fog atmosphere and industrial atmosphere; |
3 | Due to the strong combination, zinc-iron mutually soluble, with strong wear resistance; |
4 | Due to the good ductility of zinc, its alloy layer is firmly attached to the steel base, so hot plated parts can be cold punching, rolling, drawing, bending and other molding without damage to the coating; |
5 | After hot-dip galvanized steel structural parts, it is equivalent to a annealing treatment, which can effectively improve the mechanical properties of the steel matrix, eliminate the stress during the forming and welding of steel parts, and is conducive to the turning of steel structural parts. |
6 | The surface of hot dip galvanized parts is bright and beautiful.
|
7 | Pure zinc layer is the most plastic galvanized layer in hot dip galvanizing. Its properties are basically close to pure zinc and it has ductility, so it is flexible. |
